Wild About Bats

October 17, 2017 - 9:00am

Wild About Bats is a special program for Miss Becky's preschool class at Johnson Elementary. This program contains fun stories and activities for the kids and is a great way to learn about bats and how they help control the insect population for farmers and everyone. The photo on the left shows Miss Camille, a 21-year old Malayan Flying Fox bat, that has a wing span of over five feet and is one of the largest bats in the world. Miss Camille is a fruit eating bat that is not native to the United States.
