Paramedic Bobby Hill presented a fabulous (and potentially life-saving) program for kids on What to do in Emergencies. Thank you so much. We are all looking forward to your follow-up program - What to do in Emergencies - Part 2 on July 28th. Thank you for keeping us safe!

The Wonders of Pines program was truly amazing. Special thanks to the Pinecone Lady, Renee Galeano-Popp, for sharing her expertise and wonderful pine cone collection with the kids. It was an informative and magical morning.

Last summer, kids at Soaring Eagle Ecology Center (SEEC) built a number of nest boxes for secondary cavity nest birds in the Red Feather Lakes area. Five of the boxes were installed this spring and they all have bird activity this month.

Many thanks to photographer, Sue Chesnut, for a fantastic photography workshop for kids. Sue's expertise and passion for both nature and photography are inspiring and contagious.

Two big thumbs up to Darlene and Judy for an informative, fun program on bats and owls. The program finale included the kids dissecting barn owl pellets. What a great way to learn about wildlife!

SEEC would like to give Brock McArdle and his wonderful working wildlife K9, CASH, a big thank you for leading a program for kids at Soaring Eagle Ecology Center yesterday. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and the program had to be shortened.

The weather was wonderful, the fish were biting and it was another great Kids' Fishing Fest at West Lake. Many thanks to Chris Carroll and all of the fabulous volunteers who helped make this fishy event such a success.See you all next year.

SEEC volunteers were thrilled to bring Amazing Water and The Magic of Water to Tavelli Elementary's third-grade students. It was fun, informative and not too wildly wet. Everyone had a blast while learning about the wonderful properties of H2O. Thanks for inviting us!

WOW! The Children's Water Festival held yesterday was fun, informative and just plain awesome! Even the weather cooperated and it was a glorious, sunny day. SEEC always enjoys participating in the Water Festival.

Volunteers from SEEC and RFLCL had a lot of fun facilitating Investigation of Beetles and Mammal Skins and Skulls with all of the third-graders. The kids were great and a delight to work with. Thank you everyone!
