SEEC Receives AirWaterGas Sustainability Research Grant
Soaring Eagle Ecology Center (SEEC) is thrilled to have been selected for the 2016 AirWaterGas Sustainability Research Grant for our student/community citizen science project, High Altitude Air Quality Monitoring: Collection and Analysis of Ozone Trends as Related to Elevation and Population Density. SEEC's ozone trends air monitoring project will focus on collecting data during the months of May through September using the portable monitors (U-Pods) that were developed by the AWG research team at CU-Boulder. During the rest of the school year, SEEC will utilize the U-Pods and AirBeam particulate monitors for school-student projects and learning programs. If schools, teachers and community members are interested in learning more about SEEC's High Altitude Air Quality Monitoring Project, please call SEEC at 970-218-9685 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
